AFP Hike

Great Falls, MD – Billy Goat Trail

 

When:  Sunday October 25^th at 9:30am SHARP

*The hike will leave without you if you are late!*

Erin Brandt will lead the hike

Meet by the Visitors Center

How Far:  4 miles (about 3 hours with stops)

Cost: $5.00 per car (national park fees)

What to bring:

·         Backpack

·         Water

·         Snacks

·         Appropriate Clothing (including rain jacket if possibility of rain)

·         Good shoes – this hike can be done in sturdy tennis shoes but trail shoes or boots are better

·         Camera – it will be very pretty at Great Falls this time of year.

Pets: Dogs are NOT allowed on this hike (park rules – no dogs on Billy Goat Trail)

Kids: Kids are most welcome if they can hike 5 miles.

Rides: If anyone can take extra people or needs a ride, please let Erin Brandt know.
