In honor of AIDS Awareness Month this December, Dr. Anthony Fauci will meet with YGL-B members for an informal discussion about the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS, drawing from his experiences on the front lines as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Fauci serves as one of the key advisors to the White House and Department of Health and Human Services on global AIDS issues, and on initiatives to bolster medical and public health preparedness against emerging infectious disease threats such as pandemic influenza. He has been at NIH since 1968 and director of NIAID since 1984. You won't want to miss this opportunity to chat with Dr. Fauci and ask him questions about the HIV/AIDS epidemic and his thoughts on leadership in public service.

Space is limited to the first 25 members who RSVP!

When: Tuesday, December 15th, noon to 1:00 p.m.

Where: On the NIH campus, in Bldg. 31 (room number TBA)
*(Please note: This event is open to all members, including those who work outside of NIH.)

What to bring: Please come with your lunch, and your questions for Dr. Fauci. Most of the hour will be devoted to Q&A.

RSVP: Email Katie Rush for more information or to RSVP (communications@yglbethesda.org). For those members who don't work at NIH and would like to attend, please let Katie know in your RSVP, and she will send you more details about how to get on campus.
