YGL-Bethesda would like to invite you to join us on December 6th for a candlelight tour of George Washington's Mount Vernon home. This annual tradition includes a tour of the first and second floors, featuring characters from the Washingtons' world guiding visitors through the home and adding ambiance and authenticity to a traditional Christmas evening at Mount Vernon. This is the only time of year when the estate is open to the public for special evening tours and will include fireside Christmas caroling. It is also the only time of year when Martha Washington herself will greet you with her very own warm cider and ginger cookies. Here is a link to learn more about the tour: Candelit Tour. Tickets for the tour go on sale November 1st. Because they sell out quickly, we would like to go ahead and purchase tickets for everyone who is signed up to attend (this way we get the tickets en masse for the same time slot). Price: $18 per adult and $12 per child age 11 and under Date: December 6th, 2009 Time: 5-8 pm Please sign up to attend (and indicate how many tickets you would like) in the RSVP form.

If you don't email her, she will assume that you are bringing only your adult friends. ** Alyson will purchase all tickets and hold you accountable to pay her in cash on or before December 6th. By signing the RSVP form, you are accountable for your ticket. If you need to cancel your ticket order after November 1st, you are responsible to find a replacement or still pay Alyson the cash.
